Frequently asked questions

What is Akampa?

Akampa is a conservation company that creates experiences in nature with social and environmental impact. We design expeditions in some of Mexico's most striking landscapes — adventure, comfort and purpose in the same trip. Each trip is an opportunity to connect with the land, learn from those who protect it and be an active part of its conservation.

Why travel with Akampa?

Because every experience we offer generates a real positive impact. We work directly with local communities so that the proceeds from our trips become economic incentives to care for ecosystems. Instead of exploiting the land, we celebrate and protect it along with those who inhabit it. Traveling with Akampa means a serious adventure — and a real contribution to a fairer, more sustainable future.

What is Akampa's mission?

Our mission is to inspire more people to fall in love with nature and protect it. We believe that if caring for the earth becomes good business, we can create a truly sustainable world. That's why we design transformative experiences that generate income for the communities that care for Mexico's natural spaces, promoting their long-term preservation.
